Yummy Chocolate Frosting a Nestle Toll House Recipe

Use on cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and graham crackers!

  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar, divided
  • 2/3 cup (I only use 1/3 cup) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 5 to 6 tablespoons milk, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
BEAT 1 cup powdered sugar, cocoa, butter, 2 tablespoons milk and vanilla extract in small mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and milk until smooth. Makes 2 cups total.

Thank you for posting this recipe. I usually just use the back of the baking cocoa container, but Nestle changed the container and left the recipe off. I was very excited when I found your site. THANK YOU :)
